The Pristine Sanctuary is the "armory" of the Sisters of Battle in Dawn of War: Soulstorm.

Description

• Allows weapon upgrades on Battle Sister, Seraphim and Celestian squads.
• Contains research to improve infantry squads and Veteran Superiors.
• Contains research that equips most buildings with Laud Hailer.
• Allows buildings: Inferno Turret and Ecclesiarchal Cathedral add-on (HQ Upgrade).

Strategy

It is useful to place the Pristine Sanctuary at one of the first Listening Posts you built. Having the sanctuary out at the post will allow it to use Laud Hailer at the edge of your base. This means you won't have to to wait for the enemy to move into the centre of your base to have them affected by Laud Hailer.

If you want to rush into tier 2, don't bother building the Pristine Sanctuary and instead upgrade the Ecclesiarchal Chapel into a Ecclesiarchal Cathedral. Be forewarned, however, as this greatly lengthens the time you need to wait until you can get Flamers on Battle Sisters or train Seraphim Squads. If those things are needed ASAP (such as when versing the melee-heavy Orks or lightly armoured Eldar), then build the Pristine Sanctuary first.

Inferno Pistol

Power Weapons

• Replaces the Chainsword of the Veteran Superior, Seraphim Veteran Superior, and Celestian Veteran Superior and with a Power Sword. More powerful.
• Replaces the Canoness's Power Sword with the Brazier of Holy Fire. More powerful and grants her some effectiveness against Vehicles.

Laud Hailers

• Enables the use of Laud Hailers by Rhino Transports, Ecclesiarchal Chapels, Adepta Sororitas Convents, Pristine Sanctuaries, Manufactorums, and Holy Reliquaries.
• Laud Hailers is an ability which works on nearby infantry's morale : damages ennemy's one and restores allie's one.
